Carol Duffin

State Representative - District 68 Candidate

I am a proud resident of Clarksville, having called this community home for the past 25 years. My journey here began when my husband was stationed at Ft. Campbell in the US Army, and together we have raised three wonderful children.

I am a proud resident of Clarksville, having called this community home for the past 25 years. My journey here began when my husband was stationed at Ft. Campbell in the US Army, and together we have raised three wonderful children.

Prior to settling in Clarksville, I had the privilege of working in Washington, D.C. as a Senior Sales Executive for a Fortune 500 company. In that role, I had the honor of collaborating with esteemed institutions such as the US Army, White House, US Congress, US Secret Service, and state governments.

Being an Army wife and mother is a role I cherish deeply. My son currently serves as a Field Artillery Officer at Ft. Carson, further cementing my commitment to our armed forces and their families.

For 18 years, I dedicated myself to being a stay-at-home parent. Despite this, I understood the importance of community involvement. Whether it was attending school board and county commission meetings, volunteering at schools and local charities such as Meals on Wheels and the Foster Care Review Board, or serving in various leadership roles such as former Co-chair of the Montgomery County Republican Party and currently a member of the Montgomery County Republican Women’s Club, I have always strived to make a positive impact.

In addition, my past experience as an advocate working with the TN legislature has given me a unique perspective on how important it is that taxpayers in Montgomery County have their voices heard.  Currently, I work for an international meeting and events company as a Travel Director. Through my travels across the country, I have witnessed a common desire among people: the aspiration to live in a vibrant, safe community with low taxes, high-paying jobs, and excellent schools.

My experiences have shaped my values, emphasizing the importance of family, community and service. As a dedicated citizen of Clarksville, I am committed to using my skills and passion to contribute to the betterment of our community and the lives of its residents.
